Due to a limited study system, students appointed by the Sino-French Engineer School focus their over half-year study and exchange primarily on the engineer stage with different forms.
A semester: two modes.
One is at the first or second semester (S7 or S8) of the first year of the engineer stage, primarily for cooperative programs between Beihang and other foreign institutions, mostly with China Scholarship Council scholarships.
The other is the second semester (S10) of the second year of the engineer stage, mainly for the internal exchange of Groupe des Écoles Centrales.
One year: two modes.
One is in the first year of the engineer stage (S7 + S8), when students enter Groupe des Écoles Centrales for basic stage learning, mostly with China Scholarship Council scholarships.
The other is in the third year of the engineer stage (S11 + S12), when students enter Groupe des Écoles Centrales for professional learning. The follow-up and evaluation of student foreign internship after graduation vary, and are under the charge of Beihang Sino-French Engineer School.
Two years: aiming at the joint degree, including the subsidiary college under Groupe des Écoles Centrales (S7-S10) or Beihang partners (Supélec (S9-S12), Université Libre de Bruxelles (S9-S12), ISAE (S11-S14), etc.)
