Finally, Permanent Counselor Jiang Miao led the international students and parents to visit the teaching building, classrooms, and laboratories of the school.

On September 5, Sino-French Engineer School organized a meeting to explain the cultivation program for international students. Chinese Director Luo Hongbin, new French director Adnane BOUKAMEL, former French Director Frédéric Genty, Chinese Vice Director Yin Chuantao, French Vice Director Mariem Kacem Boureau, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee Xu Gaonan, Sino-French Engineer School Secretary of the Communist Youth League of China committee Zhao Qiudi, Undergraduate Teaching Secretary Tan Li, and 14 international students attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chinese vice director Yin Chuantao.

First of all, Chinese director Luo Hongbin welcomed the international students and expressed his delight at their arrival. He said that international students could improve their language skills by strengthening communication and exchange with Chinese students. In addition, the school has many excellent teachers and will appoint teachers to provide support for international students' development, organize rich and diverse intercultural activities for them and help them adapt to campus life as soon as possible, study happily  and realize their goals and dreams.

The new French director, Adnane BOUKAMEL expressed his happiness at having the international students here and at working with the staff. He emphasized that these foreign students made an audacious and fearless decision and that they possessed the character and maturity to be successful in their program. He congratulated them. Further more, he then offered some advice regarding their lives and academic pursuits. Since the French students have the good fortune to be able to interact with students from different cultures, he hopes that they will be open-minded and have a sense of solidarity with the Chinese students as well as each other. In order to promote your own nation's culture, he also hopes that everyone will actively plan and take part in events with Chinese students and other international students. Living and studying in a foreign place will be challenging, but everyone should take advantage of this chance to better themselves. It's normal to run into obstacles, work through them quickly, and ask for assistance from classmates and professors as needed.

The school has accepted more foreign students this year who were enrolled in the International School, according to Vice Secretary of the Party Committee Xu Gaonan, but the training would be finished at the Sino-French Engineer School. In order to foster stronger relationships between French and Chinese students, the Sino-French Engineer School will work to arrange a variety of events on the cultural integration of China and France, such as touring historical sites, viewing movies, listening to music, etc., he said. He pointed out that many students were coming to China for the first time, and that they would encounter various problems that we would try to solve together. He advised the students to concentrate on their studies, as in the first and second years they would be taking not only Chinese language courses, but also challenging courses such as mathematics and physics. The school also has high-level French teachers, who will be working with the students. He hopes that the international students will succeed in their studies and successfully obtain the engineering diploma with their help.

The training program for international students was interpreted by Chinese Vice Director Yin Chuantao and French Vice Director Mariem Kacem Boureau. The total number of credits for the four years of university, the courses taken each semester and how credits were distributed, the guidelines for choosing courses and exams, and other information were all presented in great detail. International students can seek the teaching department and teachers for assistance if they are having problems with their study plans, grades, or other aspects of their academic experience. They can also ask the student work department for assistance with their academic life.

At the end of the meeting, Sino-French Engineer School Secretary of the Communist Youth League of China committee Zhao Qiudi and Undergraduate Teaching Secretary Tan Li, respectively, presented the activities organized by the school and how to choose courses. By taking part in this meeting, international students were able to gain a better understanding of the curriculum, credits, courses, and other requirements so as to better prepare for the new semester.

In order to actively respond to President Xi Jinping's initiative to increase the number of French students coming to China to over 10,000 in the next three years and to double the scale of exchanges of young Europeans coming to China, Beihang University worked closely with Groupe des Écoles Centrale to raise the school's profile in France in 2024, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. This year, the school received applications from 20 overseas students from all over the world. After the International Student Admission Working Group referred to the admission criteria of the Sino-French Engineer School, a total of 16 pre-admission letters were issued, and 14 of them finally chose to come to the Sino-French Engineer School of Beihang University to carry out the preparatory stage of their studies. For a long time, this is the most number of students enrolled in the same year. In order to further improve the school's level of internationalization, encourage the homogenization of international student management, and aid in attracting more international students to Beihang University, the school will keep up its excellent work in managing and training foreign students in collaboration with the International School.
