From Sep. 3rd to Sep.10th, leading by Sino-French Engineer School of BUAA, 3rdSession of French Engineer Educating and Teaching Seminar was successfully held in Paris. The team was led by Cao Qinghua, Director of Dean's Office. 13 teachers and relative teaching and management staff attended the seminar.
The exchange aimed at understanding French traditional preparatory school and French and the industrial science labs settings. During the seminar, teachers visited Lycée Saint-Louis Engineer Preparatory School, LycéeChaptelEngineer Preparatory School and EcoleNormaleSupérieure de Cachan. They had deep practical experience and teaching observation. They listened to the teachers’ introduction and both sides had deep discussion in specific major discipline, student cultivation and teacher training.
After visiting and studying for one week, the teachers witnessed the French Engineer education and training system and the industrial science labs settings, they have realized the essence of French Engineer Education. The seminar also put forward suggestions and advices for popularizing general engineer academic education system and training mode in China, combined with the actual operation conditions of Sino-French Engineer School.
