The return of Shenzhou-16: Ms Sa, professor at Ecole Centrale de Pékin, takes part in CGTN's live broadcast

On 31 October, the French channel of the China Global Television Network (CGTN) broadcast the special programme "The return of the Shenzhou-16 Manned Spacecraft", in which Ms. Sa, professor at the Ecole Centrale de Pékin, was invited as a special interviewee.


The programme summarised a number of significant achievements from the main missions of Shenzhou-16, from its launch to its return. Along with the live broadcast of videos showing the return of the manned Shenzhou-16 spacecraft, the programme allowed the international community to discover the latest advances in China's space programme. The successful landing of the Shenzhou-16 spacecraft marks the complete success of the first manned mission in the application and development phase of the space station.


Ms. Sa also presented to the international partners the brilliant achievements of China's manned space exploration over the past 20 years, as well as the perseverance of the Chinese people, the country's technological progress and the openness of its citizens.


Finally, the programme highlighted Sino-French cooperation in space and the prospects for bilateral development. Ms Sa said that both China and France have great capabilities in this field and a solid foundation for excellent cooperation, this cooperation between China and France would be mutually beneficial and contribute to global cooperation in space exploration for the benefit of mankind.


Ms. Sa presented the remarkable achievements of China's manned space program and its latest developments, conveying China's voice and spirit to the world. She also emphasized the role of École centrale de Pékin as a "bridge" between the two countries.


As a proving ground for the training of international talents, Ecole Centrale de Pékin will continue to follow the principles of "development, openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit." It will strive to align with globally recognized certification and training systems, while adhering to the program for promoting top international higher education institutions.
